Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client, Version=

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
After entering the tfs server information, username, password, and then clicking on the connect button, I received the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

A side effect is that after clicking OK, the "Connect to TFS" button reads "Disconnect from" which is unexpected since it doesn't seem like it is actually connected.

I have the same issue with Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit.

Any idea how I can get this to work, or find another solution that allows me to search the contents of files in TFS for a string (or preferably a regex)?

How can they possibly have left such an essential tool out?

Thanks - Rowan

It looks for v9.0.0.0 for no reason? Its hard to find that DLL for client machines..

Instead of this one, I use "TFS Administrators Toolkit" AddIn. That works well within TFS as an integrated shell menu to "FindInFiles".
